To purchase from us you must be over 18 and a resident in the United Kingdom. Currently, we can only ship to the United Kingdom.

Privacy Policy
We are committed to protecting your privacy. We will only use the information that we collect about you lawfully (in accordance with the Data Protection Act 1998). We do not sell, transmit or pass on any of your order/personal details (especially email addresses) to any third party companies.

We collect the following information to enable us to process your order:
Name, address/delivery address, and credit card/debit card number and expiry date. We also collect your contact details such as telephone number and email address in the event we need to contact you about your order.

We may use technology to track the patterns of behaviour of visitors to our site. This can include using a "cookie" which would be stored on your browser. You can usually modify your browser to prevent this happening. The information collected in this way can be used to identify you unless you modify your browser settings.

Availability
All items are subject to availability. If an item is out of stock you will be notified within 24 hours. Out of stock items will automatically remain on our back order system until such time we receive stock or you notify us you wish to cancel the order.

Security/Credit Card Payment
All credit/debit card transactions are processed via WorldPay. WorldPay uses state of the art security tools and techniques, both proprietary and unique, to ensure that are protected against what is nowadays a virtually non-existent risk. WorldPay have evolved over many years and gained bank approval for their systems.

Delivery
We use either Royal Mail Recorded delivery or Royal Mail Special Delivery and aim to deliver all orders within 3 - 5 days from the day of purchase. Delivery times are 9.00am - 5.00pm Monday to Friday and require a signature upon receipt. Unfortunately we accept no responsibility for delays in the Royal Mail postal system.

Under normal circumstances orders are processed and delivered within 1 - 3 working days. However please allow up to 7 days from the time of ordering for delivery. If you have a valid reason for an urgent delivery please feel free to contact us and we will endeavour to prioritise your order.

Delivery Charges
Our delivery charges are from £5.95 to anywhere within Mainland U.K. Non U.K Mainland Customers - These include Northern Ireland, Channel Islands. We currently do not deliver overseas.

Please Note: Deliveries to more remote areas in the U.K may incur additional delivery costs.

Free Delivery
To qualify for free delivery your order must be over £100.00 and dispatched when the entire order is ready.

14 day no quibble return policy
We want you to be completely satisfied with any purchase from hardtofindfoods.co.uk. You may return any purchase back to us within 14 days providing:

  • The product is not damaged
  • The product is unopened and/or still sealed
  • The product has not been used in any way
  • The product is complete with all the original packaging
  • The product is in a resalable condition

If you wish to return a product within 14 days please contact us to issue you with a Returns Authorisation.

How to return a product
Once you have obtained your Returns Authorisation please return to: Explore (hard to find foods), PO Box 96, Radlett, Herts WD7 8YX.

Please ensure you use adequate packaging to prevent any damage or breakage especially when returning products that are bottled/glass. We also strongly recommend using an insured and traceable method such as Royal Mail Special Delivery as we accept no responsibility for loss or damage while in transit.

Refunds
Providing goods are returned in satisfactory conditon in accordance with the above, we will refund you in full less any delivery charges.

Cancellation
All products are sold with a 7 day cancellation period from the date of purchase Customers exercising their right to cancellation will receive a prompt refund within 48 hours of receipt.

Complaints and disputes
If you have a complaint regarding any aspect of our products or service you may contact us in total confidentiality. All complaints will be dealt with fairly and efficiently within 48 hours of initial contact.
